The last time I wrote, I encouraged us all to take the breaks we need. Then, my life seemed to get even crazier! As if God was asking me, “Haven’t you learned yet?! TAKE THE BREAK!”
In November, I hit an even harder season of grieving as the holiday season approached. December brought me 2 bouts of Covid plus a UTI and multiple family members also contracted Covid. It almost takes TWO HANDS to count the number of Urgent Care visits we made in December!
We ended up having a lovely Thanksgiving and Christmas; amazingly, everyone was healthy for the actual holidays! We spoiled each other and especially the three new additions to my brother and sister-in-law’s household.
The BIGGEST change was put into place in January: after much thought, prayer, consideration, and perseverance I STARTED MY OWN THERAPY PRACTICE! What is the name of my practice you might ask? CALLING THE DEEP COUNSELING SERVICES, LLC. I do not have a website yet but my email is [email protected] and my business number is 717-454-3802. At the beginning of the year, the Lord brought me to this verse:
Isaiah 43:19-Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Life hasn’t let up yet. As more piles on, I have found myself in the wilderness. You can’t be human and not experience this at some point. But I see God doing new things in my life and making a way in the midst of the hard….and the good. I hope and pray this is true for all of you as well and that as the year comes to the halfway point, you are seeing the ways God is making for you and your journey, whether you are in the wilderness or not.
